Governance
Today, Webequie First Nation is the elected local governance for our community. We believe strongly in our inherent rights to self-governance and self-determination. Our Chief and Council, as well as our affiliations with larger First Nation organizations, preserve our freedom to live our lives the way we choose. We are proud of our heritage and the strong and thriving community we have built.
